In the past twenty-four hours, 149 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 101 patients, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 34, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 0, Jalal-Abad province – 9, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 87 056 patients.

New cases

 

As of April 19th, 2021, a total of 212 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 152, Osh city – 4, Chuy province – 22, Osh province – 2, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 12, Issyk-Kul province – 18, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 92 095 cases were registered during the entire period, including 48 948 laboratory-confirmed cases and 43 147 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3 069 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1246 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1270 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 657, Osh city – 35, Chuy province – 397, Osh province – 27, Talas province – 11, Naryn province – 29, Issyk-Kul province – 64, Jalal-Abad province – 14, Batken province – 12. Out of the 1246 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 31 people (2.4%) is categorized as satisfactory, 851 patients (68.2%) are in moderately severe condition, 311 (24.9%) in severe and 53 (4.2%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 937, Osh city – 13, Chuy province – 207, Osh province – 7, Talas province – 12, Naryn province – 9, Issyk-Kul province – 64, Jalal-Abad province – 17, Batken province – 4.

Fatalities

 

Six (6) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 5 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek – 2, Chuy province – 3) and 1 case due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Chuy province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1555 cases, including 501 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1054 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Two (2) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours (in Bishkek city). The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4356. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 3 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4272 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
