Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 173 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 108 patients, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 51, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 5, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 2.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 87,229 patients.

New cases

 

As of April 20th, 2021, a total of 225 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 117, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 82, Osh province – 4, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 4, Issyk-Kul province – 12, Jalal-Abad province – 5, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 92,320 cases were registered during the entire period, including 49,141 laboratory-confirmed cases and 43,179 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

5,020 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1,236 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1,324 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 656, Osh city – 38, Chuy province – 362, Osh province – 33, Talas province – 12, Naryn province – 31, Issyk-Kul province – 77, Jalal-Abad province – 15, Batken province – 12. Out of the 1,236 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 29 people (2.3%) is categorized as satisfactory, 850 patients (68.7%) are in moderately severe condition, 308 (24.9%) in severe and 49 (3.9%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 942, Osh city – 7, Chuy province – 270, Osh province – 5, Talas province – 12, Naryn province – 8, Issyk-Kul province – 58, Jalal-Abad province – 20, Batken province – 2.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours (Bishkek, Chuy province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1,557 cases, including 503 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,054 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Four (4) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 2 in Bishkek city, 2 in Chuy province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4,360. In the past twenty-four hours, 1 medical worker was discharged from inpatient care, and 3 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4,276 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
