Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 164 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 94 patients, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 44, Osh province – 7, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 9, Jalal-Abad province – 3, Batken province – 3.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 87,554 patients.

New cases

 

As of April 22nd, 2021, a total of 380 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 246, Osh city – 14, Chuy province – 91, Osh province – 5, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 15, Jalal-Abad province – 5, Batken province – 2.

Overall, 93,006 cases were registered during the entire period, including 49,701 laboratory-confirmed cases and 43,305 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

4,829 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1,352 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1,556 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 731, Osh city – 38, Chuy province – 395, Osh province – 39, Talas province – 9, Naryn province – 33, Issyk-Kul province – 78, Jalal-Abad province – 17, Batken province – 12. Out of the 1,352 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 22 people (1.6%) is categorized as satisfactory, 962 patients (71.1%) are in moderately severe condition, 316 (23.3%) in severe and 52 (3.8%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 1114, Osh city – 20, Chuy province – 291, Osh province – 6, Talas province – 13, Naryn province – 11, Issyk-Kul province – 66, Jalal-Abad province – 30, Batken province – 5.

Fatalities

 

Five (5) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 2 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek) and 3 cases due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek – 2, Chuy province – 1). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1,566 cases, including 506 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,060 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Eleven (11) new cases of COVID-19 were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 9 in Bishkek city, 1 in Jalal-Abad province, 1 in Issyk-Kul province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4,380. In the past twenty-four hours, 3 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 3 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4,291 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
