In the past twenty-four hours, 146 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 106 patients, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 27, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 9, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 88,212 patients.

New cases

 

As of April 26th, 2021, a total of 199 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 138, Osh city – 9, Chuy province – 29, Osh province – 2, Talas province – 6, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 11, Jalal-Abad province – 3, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 94,030 cases were registered during the entire period, including 50,555 laboratory-confirmed cases and 43,475 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

2,982 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1,449 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1,801 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 823, Osh city – 41, Chuy province – 393, Osh province – 31, Talas province – 8, Naryn province – 31, Issyk-Kul province – 91, Jalal-Abad province – 20, Batken province – 11. Out of the 1,449 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 13 people (0.8%) is categorized as satisfactory, 1,029 patients (71.0%) are in moderately severe condition, 345 (23.8%) in severe and 62 (4.2%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 1,254, Osh city – 34, Chuy province – 364, Osh province – 21, Talas province – 20, Naryn province – 7, Issyk-Kul province – 77, Jalal-Abad province – 21, Batken province – 3.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours – both due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek, Naryn province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1,584 cases, including 517 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,067 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Five (5) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours, including 2 cases in the red zone. Four (4) cases were registered in Bishkek city and 1 case – in Chuy province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4,405. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 7 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4,317 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
