Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 203 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 119 patients, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 62, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 18, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 88,415 patients.

New cases

 

As of April 27th, 2021, a total of 247 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 146, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 79, Osh province – 2, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 6, Issyk-Kul province – 7, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 3.

Overall, 94,277 cases were registered during the entire period, including 50,763 laboratory-confirmed cases and 43,514 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

5,159 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1,469 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1,817 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 862, Osh city – 41, Chuy province – 382, Osh province – 31, Talas province – 8, Naryn province – 31, Issyk-Kul province – 83, Jalal-Abad province – 20, Batken province – 11. Out of the 1,469 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 13 people (0.8%) is categorized as satisfactory, 1,049 patients (71.4%) are in moderately severe condition, 342 (23.2%) in severe and 65 (4.4%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 1,237, Osh city – 32, Chuy province – 390, Osh province – 23, Talas province – 22, Naryn province – 12, Issyk-Kul province – 73, Jalal-Abad province – 22, Batken province – 6.

Fatalities

 

Five (5) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 4 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek – 2, Chuy province – 2) and 1 case due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1,589 cases, including 521 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,068 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Six (6) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 4 in Bishkek city, 1 in Chuy province, 1 in Issyk-Kul province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4,411. In the past twenty-four hours, 5 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 4 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4,326 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
