Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 243 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 150 patients, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 64, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 5, Issyk-Kul province – 11, Jalal-Abad province – 7, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 88,658 patients.

New cases

 

As of April 28th, 2021, a total of 322 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 227, Osh city – 9, Chuy province – 59, Osh province – 6, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 15, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 2.

Overall, 94,599 cases were registered during the entire period, including 50,999 laboratory-confirmed cases and 43,600 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

5,213 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1,419 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1,939 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 784, Osh city – 42, Chuy province – 404, Osh province – 30, Talas province – 11, Naryn province – 30, Issyk-Kul province – 88, Jalal-Abad province – 18, Batken province – 12. Out of the 1,419 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 15 people (1.0%) is categorized as satisfactory, 998 patients (70.3%) are in moderately severe condition, 338 (23.8%) in severe and 68 (4.7%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 1,388, Osh city – 37, Chuy province – 361, Osh province – 26, Talas province – 20, Naryn province – 10, Issyk-Kul province – 72, Jalal-Abad province – 18, Batken province – 7.

Fatalities

 

Three (3) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 2 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek, Chuy province) and 1 case due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1,592 cases, including 523 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,069 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Six (6) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 4 in Bishkek city, 2 in Chuy province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4,417. In the past twenty-four hours, 2 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 4 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4,332 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
