Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 265 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 166 patients, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 75, Osh province – 2, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 14, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 1.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 88,923 patients.

New cases

 

As of April 29th, 2021, a total of 345 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 224, Osh city – 5, Chuy province – 77, Osh province – 9, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 9, Issyk-Kul province – 18, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 1.

Overall, 94,944 cases were registered during the entire period, including 51,266 laboratory-confirmed cases and 43,678 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

6,042 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1,470 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1,964 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 812, Osh city – 45, Chuy province – 415, Osh province – 30, Talas province – 11, Naryn province – 35, Issyk-Kul province – 88, Jalal-Abad province – 20, Batken province – 14. Out of the 1,470 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 17 people (1.1%) is categorized as satisfactory, 1,035 patients (70.4%) are in moderately severe condition, 346 (23.5%) in severe and 72 (4.8%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 1,414, Osh city – 36, Chuy province – 352, Osh province – 33, Talas province – 21, Naryn province – 13, Issyk-Kul province – 76, Jalal-Abad province – 14, Batken province – 5.

Fatalities

 

Six (6) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 3 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek) and 3 cases due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1,598 cases, including 526 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,072 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Five (5) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours, including 2 cases in the red zone. Three (3) cases occurred in Bishkek city, 1 case in Chuy province, 1 in Issyk-Kul province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4,422. In the past twenty-four hours, 4 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 8 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4,344 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
