Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 82 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 45 patients, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 31, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 2, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 3.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 84 979 patients.

New cases

 

As of April 2nd, 2021, a total of 162 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 112, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 39, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 7, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 1.

Overall, 88 700 cases were registered during the entire period, including 46 114 laboratory-confirmed cases and 42 586 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

4334 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 564 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 704 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 297, Osh city – 18, Chuy province – 159, Osh province – 4, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 10, Issyk-Kul province – 47, Jalal-Abad province – 23, Batken province – 6. Out of the 564 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 426 people (75.5%) is categorized as moderately severe, 112 (19.8%) are in severe condition and 24 (4.2%) – in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 480, Osh city – 5, Chuy province – 169, Osh province – 15, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 10, Issyk-Kul province – 15, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 8.

Fatalities

 

No deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours. The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1500 cases, including 471 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1029 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

Medical workers

Three (3) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours (Bishkek city – 2, Chuy province – 1). The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4251. In the past twenty-four hours, 2 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 0 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4199 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
