Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 268 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 172 patients, Osh city – 4, Chuy province – 71, Osh province – 6, Talas province – 3, Naryn province – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 6, Jalal-Abad province – 3, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 89,191 patients.

New cases

 

As of April 30th, 2021, a total of 331 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 211, Osh city – 5, Chuy province – 83, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 25, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 2.

Overall, 95,275 cases were registered during the entire period, including 51,523 laboratory-confirmed cases and 43,752 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

5,099 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1,477 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 2,012 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 821, Osh city – 44, Chuy province – 419, Osh province – 27, Talas province – 9, Naryn province – 35, Issyk-Kul province – 90, Jalal-Abad province – 18, Batken province – 14. Out of the 1,477 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 7 people (0.4%) is categorized as satisfactory, 1,040 patients (70.4%) are in moderately severe condition, 354 (23.9%) in severe and 76 (5.1%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 1,438, Osh city – 38, Chuy province – 360, Osh province – 33, Talas province – 20, Naryn province – 12, Issyk-Kul province – 91, Jalal-Abad province – 13, Batken province – 7.

Fatalities

 

Six (6) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 2 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek, Chuy province) and 4 cases due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek – 1, Chuy province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 2). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1,604 cases, including 528 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,076 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Six (6) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 3 cases in Bishkek city, 3 in Chuy province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4,428. In the past twenty-four hours, 3 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 5 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4,352 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
