Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 98 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 49 patients, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 35, Osh province – 5, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 5, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 1.

New cases

 

As of April 3rd, 2021, a total of 142 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 90, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 44, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 7, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 1.

Overall, 88 842 cases were registered during the entire period, including 46 239 laboratory-confirmed cases and 42 603 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

4 289 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 582 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 729 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 307, Osh city – 17, Chuy province – 167, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 9, Issyk-Kul province – 5, Jalal-Abad province – 23, Batken province – 6. Out of the 582 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 444 people (76.2%) is categorized as moderately severe, 115 (19.7%) are in severe condition and 23 (3.9%) – in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 510, Osh city – 5, Chuy province – 170, Osh province – 11, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 9, Issyk-Kul province – 14, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 8.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek) and 1 case due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1502 cases, including 472 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1030 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Eight (8) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours (Bishkek – 6, Chuy province – 2). The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4259. In the past twenty-four hours, 3 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 1 medical worker was released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4203 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
