Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 87 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 46 patients, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 30, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 5, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 3.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 85 164 patients.

New cases

 

As of April 4th, 2021, a total of 172 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 124, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 33, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 10, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 89 014 cases were registered during the entire period, including 46 379 laboratory-confirmed cases and 42 635 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

2 497 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 625 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 768 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 324, Osh city – 19, Chuy province – 195, Osh province – 4, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 10, Issyk-Kul province – 47, Jalal-Abad province – 23, Batken province – 3. Out of the 625 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 477 people (76.3%) is categorized as moderately severe, 119 (19%) are in severe condition and 29 (4.6%) – in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 570, Osh city – 4, Chuy province – 144, Osh province – 11, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 8, Issyk-Kul province – 22, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 7.

Fatalities

 

Four (4) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 3 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19  (Bishkek – 2, Chuy – 1) and 1 case due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1506 cases, including 475 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1031 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

Medical workers

Seven (7) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case in the red zone – all in Bishkek. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4266. In the past twenty-four hours, 2 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 1 medical worker was released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4206 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
