Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 117 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 60 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 41, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 8, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 2.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 85 388 patients.

New cases

 

As of April 6th, 2021, a total of 124 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 77, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 43, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 0, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 89 277 cases were registered during the entire period, including 46 595 laboratory-confirmed cases and 42 682 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

4 749 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 662 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 763 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 352, Osh city – 17, Chuy province – 216, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 12, Issyk-Kul province – 41, Jalal-Abad province – 18, Batken province – 3. Out of the 662 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 2 people (0.3%) is categorized as satisfactory, 498 patients (75.2%) are in moderately severe condition, 137 (20.6%) in severe and 25 (3.7%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 600, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 106, Osh province – 12, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 7, Issyk-Kul province – 20, Jalal-Abad province – 9, Batken province – 5.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours (Bishkek – 1, Chuy province – 1). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1509 cases, including 478 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1031 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Five (5) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 2 cases in Bishkek city, 3 in Chuy province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4274. In the past twenty-four hours, 4 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 1 medical worker was released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4211 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
