Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 108 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 67 patients, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 32, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 4, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 1.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 85 496 patients.

New cases

 

As of April 7th, 2021, a total of 161 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 97, Osh city – 6, Chuy province – 46, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 3, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 7, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 89 438 cases were registered during the entire period, including 46 736 laboratory-confirmed cases and 42 702 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

4 967 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 690 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 623 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 375, Osh city – 18, Chuy province – 213, Osh province – 5, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 18, Issyk-Kul province – 42, Jalal-Abad province – 16, Batken province – 3. Out of the 690 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 2 people (0.2%) is categorized as satisfactory, 518 patients (75%) are in moderately severe condition, 147 (21.3%) in severe and 23 (3.3%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 497, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 76, Osh province – 10, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 9, Issyk-Kul province – 15, Jalal-Abad province – 9, Batken province – 4.

Fatalities

 

Three (3) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours – all three from COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek – 2, Chuy province – 1). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1512 cases, including 478 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1034 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Eight (8) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 3 in Bishkek city, 1 in Chuy province, 2 in Osh city, 1 in Issyk-Kul province and 1 in Talas province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4282. In the past twenty-four hours, 2 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 2 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4215 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
