In the past twenty-four hours, 112 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 60 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 35, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 10, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 85 719 patients.

New cases

 

As of April 9th, 2021, a total of 151 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 74, Osh city – 6, Chuy province – 47, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 7, Issyk-Kul province – 16, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 89 811 cases were registered during the entire period, including 47 052 laboratory-confirmed cases and 42 759 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

5 059 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 766 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 849 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 426, Osh city – 26, Chuy province – 225, Osh province – 5, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 16, Issyk-Kul province – 48, Jalal-Abad province – 14, Batken province – 4. Out of the 766 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 7 people (0.9%) is categorized as satisfactory, 562 patients (73.3%) are in moderately severe condition, 169 (22%) in severe and 28 (3.6%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 676, Osh city – 7, Chuy province – 110, Osh province – 10, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 8, Issyk-Kul province – 20, Jalal-Abad province – 12, Batken province – 4.

Fatalities

 

No deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours. The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1516 cases, including 480 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1036 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Four (4) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 2 in Bishkek city (1 in the red zone), 1 in Osh city, 1 in Issyk-Kul province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4298. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 2 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4223 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
