Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for December 1

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 562 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: Bishkek city – 114 patients, Osh city – 16, Chuy province – 99, Osh province – 48, Talas province – 47, Naryn province – 11, Issyk-Kul province – 50, Jalal-Abad province – 109, and Batken province – 68.

In total, 64 711 patients have recovered during the entire period.

New cases

As of December 1st, 2020, a total of 371 new cases with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 69, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 126, Osh province – 11, Talas province – 11, Naryn province – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 36, Jalal-Abad province – 86, Batken province – 26.

Overall, 73 178 cases were registered during the entire period, including 38 490 laboratory-confirmed cases and 34 688 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

4 190 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 2636 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 3765 patients are in outpatient care.

The number of patients in the inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 854, Osh city – 77, Chuy province – 439, Osh province – 369, Talas province – 81, Naryn province – 71, Issyk-Kul province – 384, Jalal-Abad province – 250, Batken province – 111. Out of the 2636 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 39 people (1.4%) is categorized as satisfactory, 1779 patients (67.4%) are in moderately severe condition, 694 (26.3%) in severe and 124 (4.7%) in critical condition.

Patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 receiving outpatient (at home) treatment: in Bishkek city – 1006,   Osh city – 412, Chuy province – 1019, Osh province – 66, Talas province – 94, Naryn province – 23, Issyk-Kul province – 38, Jalal-Abad province – 556, Batken province – 551 patients.

Fatalities

 

In the past twenty-four hours, 4 deaths due to COVID-19 were registered, including 2 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19  (Talas province – 1, Osh province – 1) and 2 cases due to COVID-19, diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Chuy province – 1, Osh province – 1). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1275 cases, including 373 laboratory-confirmed cases and 902 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

Medical workers

Ten (10) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: Bishkek – 3 cases, Chuy province – 2 cases, Jalal-Abad province – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 1, Talas province – 1 case. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 3920 cases. In the past twenty-four hours, 7 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 2 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 3608 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
