Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for December 2

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 478 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: Bishkek city – 113 patients, Osh city – 7, Chuy province – 100, Osh province – 56, Talas province – 18, Naryn province – 7, Issyk-Kul province – 64, Jalal-Abad province – 66, and Batken province – 47.

In total, 65 189 patients have recovered during the entire period.

New cases

As of December 2nd, 2020, a total of 335 new cases with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 84, Osh city – 28, Chuy province – 107, Osh province – 35, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 15, Issyk-Kul province – 25, Jalal-Abad province – 17, Batken province – 22.

Overall, 73 513 cases were registered during the entire period, including 38 663 laboratory-confirmed cases and 34 850 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3 655 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, 2651 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 3600 patients are in outpatient care.

The number of patients in the inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 887, Osh city – 74, Chuy province – 482, Osh province – 347, Talas province – 87, Naryn province – 73, Issyk-Kul province – 379, Jalal-Abad province – 215, Batken province – 107. Out of the 2651 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 27 people (1.0%) is categorized as satisfactory, 1794 patients (67.6%) are in moderately severe condition, 711 (26.8%) in severe and 119 (4.4%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 918, Osh city – 435, Chuy province – 982, Osh province – 66, Talas province – 72, Naryn province – 29, Issyk-Kul province – 28, Jalal-Abad province – 541, Batken province – 529.

Fatalities

 

In the past twenty-four hours, 2 deaths due to COVID-19 were registered, including 1 case due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Osh province) and 1 case due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1277 cases, including 374 laboratory-confirmed cases and 903 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Twelve (12) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours, including 4 in the red zone. Three (3) cases (incl. 3 in the red zone) were observed in Bishkek, 2 cases in Chuy province, 3 cases in Osh province, 1 case in Jalal-Abad province, and 2 cases (including 1 in the red zone) in Batken province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 3932. In the past twenty-four hours, 6 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 9 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 3623 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
