Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for December 24th

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 309 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 111 patients, Osh city – 10, Chuy province – 100, Osh province – 10, Talas province – 7, Naryn province – 5, Issyk-Kul province – 27, Jalal-Abad province – 23, and Batken province – 16.

The total number of recoveries during the entire period: 73 870 patients.

New cases

As of December 24th, 2020, a total of 186 new cases with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 62, Osh city – 6, Chuy province – 43, Osh province – 8, Talas province – 5, Naryn province – 6, Issyk-Kul province – 34, Jalal-Abad province – 11, Batken province – 11.

Overall, 79 845 cases were registered during the entire period, including 41 907 laboratory-confirmed cases and 37 938 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3 263 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1418 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 2320 patients are in outpatient care.

The number of patients in the inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 521, Osh city – 52, Chuy province – 306, Osh province – 147, Talas province – 25, Naryn province – 39, Issyk-Kul province – 196, Jalal-Abad province – 68, Batken province – 64. Out of the 1418 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 22 people (1.5%) is categorized as satisfactory, 938 patients (66.1%) are in moderately severe condition, 380 (26.7%) in severe and 78 (5.5%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 669, Osh city – 194, Chuy province – 601, Osh province – 60, Talas province – 53, Naryn province – 34, Issyk-Kul province – 351, Jalal-Abad province – 232, Batken province – 126.

Fatalities

 

In the past twenty-four hours, 3 deaths due to COVID-19 were registered, including 2 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek) and 1 case due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Batken province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1340 cases, including 411 laboratory-confirmed cases and 929 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Seven (7) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours, including 2 cases in the red zone. Two (2) cases were in Bishkek city, 1 case in Chuy province, 1 case (1 in the red zone) in Batken province, 2 cases in Issyk-Kul province and 1 case (1 in the red zone) in Talas province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4087. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 5 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 3855 medical workers have recovered in the republic
