Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for December 26th

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 300 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 102 patients, Osh city – 9, Chuy province – 97, Osh province – 16, Talas province – 4, Naryn province – 5, Issyk-Kul province – 28, Jalal-Abad province – 25, and Batken province – 14.

The total number of recoveries during the entire period: 74 477 patients.

New cases

As of December 26th, 2020, a total of 157 new cases with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 60, Osh city – 6, Chuy province – 27, Osh province – 20, Talas province – 5, Naryn province – 5, Issyk-Kul province – 20, Jalal-Abad province – 10, Batken province – 4.

Overall, 80 182 cases were registered during the entire period, including 42 052 laboratory-confirmed cases and 38 130 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3 260 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1303 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 2155 patients are in outpatient care.

The number of patients in the inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 472, Osh city – 47, Chuy province – 278, Osh province – 144, Talas province – 24, Naryn province –  32, Issyk-Kul province – 185, Jalal-Abad province – 62, Batken province – 59. Out of the 1303 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 20 people (1.5%) is categorized as satisfactory, 855 patients (65.6%) are in moderately severe condition, 365 (28%) in severe and 63 (4.8%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 640, Osh city – 157, Chuy province – 559, Osh province – 75, Talas province – 48, Naryn province – 34, Issyk-Kul province –  334, Jalal-Abad province – 200, Batken province – 108.

Fatalities

 

In the past twenty-four hours, 4 deaths due to COVID-19 were registered – all due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1344 cases, including 411 laboratory-confirmed cases and 933 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Three (3) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 1 case in Bishkek city, 1 case in Osh city, 1 case in Batken province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4095. In the past twenty-four hours, 3 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 5 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 3873 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
