Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for December 27th

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 343 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 65 patients, Osh city – 30, Chuy province – 85, Osh province – 26, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 6, Issyk-Kul province – 46, Jalal-Abad province – 41, and Batken province – 43.

The total number of recoveries during the entire period: 74 820 patients.

New cases

As of December 27th, 2020, a total of 191 new cases with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 48, Osh city – 5, Chuy province – 78, Osh province – 9, Talas province – 4, Naryn province – 4, Issyk-Kul province – 20, Jalal-Abad province – 14, Batken province – 9.

Overall, 80 373 cases were registered during the entire period, including 42 149 laboratory-confirmed cases and 38 224 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

1 995 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1261 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 2040 patients are in outpatient care.

The number of patients in the inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 465, Osh city – 49, Chuy province – 259, Osh province – 131, Talas province – 24, Naryn province – 30, Issyk-Kul province – 180, Jalal-Abad province – 63, Batken province – 60. Out of the 1261 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 23 people (1.8%) is categorized as satisfactory, 816 patients (64.7%) are in moderately severe condition, 369 (29.2%) in severe and 53 (4.2%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 626, Osh city – 130, Chuy province – 571, Osh province – 71, Talas province – 51, Naryn province – 34, Issyk-Kul province – 312, Jalal-Abad province – 172, Batken province – 73.

Fatalities

 

In the past twenty-four hours, 4 deaths due to COVID-19 were registered – all due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek – 3, Batken province – 1). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1348 cases, including 411 laboratory-confirmed cases and 937 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Nine (9) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 2 cases in Bishkek city, 1 case in Chuy province, 2 cases in Osh city, 1 case in Jalal-Abad province, 2 cases in Batken province and 1 case in Issyk-Kul province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4104. In the past twenty-four hours, 8 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 4 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 3885 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
