Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for December 28th

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 237 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 96 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 70, Osh province – 12, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 32, Jalal-Abad province – 14, and Batken province – 7.

The total number of recoveries during the entire period: 75 057 patients.

New cases

As of December 28th, 2020, a total of 162 new cases with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 59, Osh city – 11, Chuy province – 42, Osh province – 6, Talas province – 7, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 25, Jalal-Abad province – 10, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 80 535 cases were registered during the entire period, including 42 225 laboratory-confirmed cases and 38 310 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 906 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1265 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1960 patients are in outpatient care.

The number of patients in the inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 467, Osh city – 50, Chuy province – 266, Osh province – 125, Talas province – 27, Naryn province – 31, Issyk-Kul province – 174, Jalal-Abad province – 65, Batken province – 60. Out of the 1265 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 23 people (1.8%) is categorized as satisfactory, 831 patients (65.6%) are in moderately severe condition, 346 (27.3%) in severe and 65 (5.1%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 586, Osh city – 138, Chuy province – 536, Osh province – 71, Talas province – 54, Naryn province – 32, Issyk-Kul province – 311, Jalal-Abad province – 166, Batken province – 66.

Fatalities

 

One (1) death due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data was registered in the past twenty-four hours (in Bishkek city). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1349 cases, including 411 laboratory-confirmed cases and 938 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Two (2) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. Both cases occurred in Bishkek city. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4106. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 4 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 3889 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
