Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for December 29th

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 277 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 59 patients, Osh city – 28, Chuy province – 64, Osh province – 31, Talas province – 11, Naryn province – 5, Issyk-Kul province – 32, Jalal-Abad province – 33, and Batken province – 14.

The total number of recoveries during the entire period: 75 334 patients.

New cases

As of December 29th, 2020, a total of 119 new cases with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 51, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 28, Osh province – 10, Talas province – 4, Naryn province – 5, Issyk-Kul province – 18, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 80 654 cases were registered during the entire period, including 42 281 laboratory-confirmed cases and 38 373 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3 064 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1200 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1862 patients are in outpatient care.

The number of patients in the inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 447, Osh city – 47, Chuy province – 270, Osh province – 102, Talas province – 24, Naryn province – 30, Issyk-Kul province – 161, Jalal-Abad province – 59, Batken province – 60. Out of the 1200 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 19 people (1.5%) is categorized as satisfactory, 798 (66.5%) patients are in moderately severe condition, 318 (26.5%) in severe and 65 (5.4%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 596, Osh city – 114, Chuy province – 496, Osh province – 72, Talas province – 49, Naryn province – 33, Issyk-Kul province – 310, Jalal-Abad province – 140, Batken province – 52.

Fatalities

 

Four (4) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 3 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 1) and 1 case due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1353 cases, including 414 laboratory-confirmed cases and 939 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

Medical workers

Two (2) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours, including one in the red zone. One (1) case (1 in the red zone) was registered in Bishkek city and 1 case in Talas province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4108. In the past twenty-four hours, 8 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 4 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 3901 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
