Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for December 31st

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 294 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 77 patients, Osh city – 32, Chuy province – 76, Osh province – 16, Talas province – 7, Naryn province – 6, Issyk-Kul province – 36, Jalal-Abad province – 30, and Batken province – 14.

The total number of recoveries during the entire period: 75 918 patients.

New cases

As of December 31st, 2020, a total of 191 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 64, Osh city – 4, Chuy province – 46, Osh province – 9, Talas province – 7, Naryn province – 5, Issyk-Kul province – 27, Jalal-Abad province – 24, Batken province – 5.

Overall, 81 034 cases were registered during the entire period, including 42 451 laboratory-confirmed cases and 38 583 cases confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data.

3 155 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1093 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1756 people are in outpatient care.

The number of patients in the inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 393, Osh city – 44, Chuy province – 261, Osh province – 83, Talas province –  22, Naryn province – 23, Issyk-Kul province – 147, Jalal-Abad province – 64, Batken province – 56. Out of the 1093 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 12 people (1%) is categorized as satisfactory, 756 patients (69.1%) are in moderately severe condition, 279 (25.5%) in severe and 46 (4.2%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 601, Osh city – 81, Chuy province – 441, Osh province – 80, Talas province – 51, Naryn province – 35, Issyk-Kul province – 303, Jalal-Abad province – 116, Batken province – 48.

Fatalities

 

One (1) death due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 was registered in the past twenty-four hours (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1355 cases, including 415 laboratory-confirmed cases and 940 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

Medical workers

Two (2) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours – both in Bishkek city. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4114. In the past twenty-four hours, 5 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 3 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 3918 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
