Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for December 4th

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 524 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 132 patients, Osh city – 35, Chuy province –  137, Osh province – 33, Talas province – 9, Naryn province – 8, Issyk-Kul province – 69, Jalal-Abad province – 49, and Batken province – 52.

In total, 66 113 patients have recovered during the entire period.

New cases

As of December 4th, 2020, a total of 440 new cases with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 109, Osh city – 17, Chuy province – 162, Osh province – 24, Talas province – 13, Naryn province – 14, Issyk-Kul province – 37, Jalal-Abad province – 39, Batken province – 25.

Overall, 74 373 cases were registered during the entire period, including 39 130 laboratory-confirmed cases and 35 243 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

2 977 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 2635 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 3528 patients are in outpatient care.

The number of patients in the inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 872, Osh city – 73, Chuy province – 502, Osh province – 332, Talas province – 91, Naryn province – 71, Issyk-Kul province – 367, Jalal-Abad province – 212, Batken province –108. Out of the 2635 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 28 people (1.6%) is categorized as satisfactory, 1819 patients (69.0%) are in moderately severe condition, 668 (25.3%) in severe and 120 (4.5%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 980, Osh city – 371, Chuy province – 1001, Osh province – 66, Talas province – 79, Naryn province – 29, Issyk-Kul province – 13, Jalal-Abad province – 497, Batken province – 492.

Fatalities

 

In the past twenty-four hours, 4 deaths due to COVID-19 were registered, including 3 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19  (Bishkek – 1, Chuy province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 1) and 1 case due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Osh province – 1). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1285 cases, including 380 laboratory-confirmed cases and 905 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

Medical workers

Twelve (12) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours, including 3 cases in the red zone. Five (5) cases (1 in the red zone) were registered in Chuy province, 1 case in Osh city, 1 in Osh province, 1 case (in the red zone) in Jalal-Abad province, 3 cases in Issyk-Kul province and 1 case (in the red zone) in Talas province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 3956. In the past twenty-four hours, 10 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 5 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 3649 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
