Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 85 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 31 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 20, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 3, Naryn province – 6, Issyk-Kul province – 17, Jalal-Abad province – 1, and Batken province – 2.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 82 391 patients.

New cases

 

As of February 16th, 2021, a total of 48 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 17, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 12, Osh province – 2, Talas province – 3, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 10, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 85 564 cases were registered during the entire period, including 44 398 laboratory-confirmed cases and 41 166 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3603 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 420 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 372 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 150, Osh city – 12, Chuy province – 123, Osh province – 39, Talas province – 8, Naryn province – 32, Issyk-Kul province – 40, Jalal-Abad province – 8, Batken province – 8. Out of the 420 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 1 person (0.3%) is categorized as satisfactory, 275 patients (65.4%) are in moderately severe condition, 115 (27.3%) in severe and 29 (6.9%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 167, Osh city – 15, Chuy province – 87, Osh province – 6, Talas province – 8, Naryn province – 21, Issyk-Kul province – 40, Jalal-Abad province – 16, Batken province – 12.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours – both from laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek, Chuy province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1444 cases, including 451 laboratory-confirmed cases and 993 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

No new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4196. In the past twenty-four hours, 1 medical worker was discharged from inpatient care, and 2 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4121 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
