Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 61 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 27 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 18, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 7, Issyk-Kul province – 4, Jalal-Abad province – 2, and Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 82 452 patients.

New cases

 

As of February 17th, 2021, a total of 55 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 14, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 20, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 4, Issyk-Kul province – 9, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 1.

Overall, 85 619 cases were registered during the entire period, including 44 410 laboratory-confirmed cases and 41 209 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3722 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 410 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 371 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 145, Osh city – 11, Chuy province – 119, Osh province – 40, Talas province – 7, Naryn province – 25, Issyk-Kul province – 43, Jalal-Abad province – 11, Batken province – 9. Out of the 410 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 265 people (64.6%) is categorized as moderately severe, 123 (30 %) people are in severe condition and 22 (5.3%) – in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 155, Osh city – 16, Chuy province – 92, Osh province – 8, Talas province – 10, Naryn province – 25, Issyk-Kul province – 42, Jalal-Abad province – 11, Batken province – 12.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours – both due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1446 cases, including 451 laboratory-confirmed cases and 995 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

One (1) new COVID-19 case was registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours – in Issyk-Kul province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4197. In the past twenty-four hours, 1 medical worker was discharged from inpatient care and 4 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4126 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
