Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 73 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 34 patients, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 22, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 4, Issyk-Kul province – 9, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 1.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 82 525 patients.

New cases

 

As of February 18th, 2021, a total of 70 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 26, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 17, Osh province – 6, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 10, Jalal-Abad province – 3, Batken province – 3.

Overall, 85 689 cases were registered during the entire period, including 44 435 laboratory-confirmed cases and 41 254 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

2976 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 418 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 360 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 143, Osh city – 13, Chuy province – 124, Osh province – 46, Talas province – 6, Naryn province – 22, Issyk-Kul province – 45, Jalal-Abad province – 9, Batken province – 10. Out of the 418 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 5 people (1.1%) is categorized as satisfactory, 267 patients (63.8%) are in moderately severe condition, 125 (29.9%) in severe and 21 (5%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 149, Osh city – 13, Chuy province – 82, Osh province – 8, Talas province – 13, Naryn province – 27, Issyk-Kul province – 41, Jalal-Abad province – 14, Batken province – 13.

Fatalities

 

One (1) death due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 was registered in the past twenty-four hours (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1447 cases, including 452 laboratory-confirmed cases and 995 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Four (4) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours – all in Bishkek city. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4201. In the past twenty-four hours, 2 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 4 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4132 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
