In the past twenty-four hours, 58 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 28 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 13, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 6, Issyk-Kul province – 6, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 1.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 82 583 patients.

New cases

 

As of February 19th, 2021, a total of 83 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 22, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 42, Osh province – 4, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 10, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 1.

Overall, 85 772 cases were registered during the entire period, including 44 453 laboratory-confirmed cases and 41 319 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3359 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 411 patients across the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 386 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 139, Osh city – 13, Chuy province – 125, Osh province – 42, Talas province – 9, Naryn province – 17, Issyk-Kul province – 47, Jalal-Abad province – 7, Batken province – 12. Out of the 411 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 8 people (1.9%) is categorized as satisfactory, 271 patients (65.9%) are in moderately severe condition, 115 (27.9%) in severe and 17 (4.1%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 142, Osh city – 14, Chuy province – 110, Osh province – 16, Talas province – 10, Naryn province – 26, Issyk-Kul province – 43, Jalal-Abad province – 14, Batken province – 11.

Fatalities

 

Three (3) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 2 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek) and 1 case due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1450 cases, including 454 laboratory-confirmed cases and 996 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

No new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4201. In the past twenty-four hours, 4 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 4 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4140 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
