In the past twenty-four hours, 47 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 23 patients, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 16, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 6, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 1.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 82 803 patients.

New cases

 

As of February 22nd, 2021, a total of 44 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 25, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 9, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 2, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 85 929 cases were registered during the entire period, including 44 491 laboratory-confirmed cases and 41 438 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

1939 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 409 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 322 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 147, Osh city – 12, Chuy province – 115, Osh province – 35, Talas province – 8, Naryn province – 18, Issyk-Kul province – 54, Jalal-Abad province – 7, Batken province – 13. Out of the 409 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 10 people (2.4%) is categorized as satisfactory, 275 patients (67.2%) are in moderately severe condition, 101 (24.6%) in severe and 23 (5.6%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 107, Osh city – 17, Chuy province – 97, Osh province – 22, Talas province – 12, Naryn province – 20, Issyk-Kul province – 27, Jalal-Abad province – 12, Batken province – 8.

Fatalities

 

No deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours. The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1458 cases, including 457 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1001 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

No new COVID-19 case were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4202. In the past twenty-four hours, 1 medical worker was discharged from inpatient care and 3 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4154 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
