In the past twenty-four hours, 59 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 23 patients, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 19, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 9, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 2.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 82 938 patients.

New cases

 

As of February 24th, 2021, a total of 24 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 12, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 3, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 4, Issyk-Kul province – 0, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 2.

Overall, 86 025 cases were registered during the entire period, including 44 537 laboratory-confirmed cases and 41 488 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3 464 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 379 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 309 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 138, Osh city – 11, Chuy province – 102, Osh province – 32, Talas province – 6, Naryn province – 23, Issyk-Kul province – 50, Jalal-Abad province – 4, Batken province – 13. Out of the 379 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 5 people (1.3%) is categorized as satisfactory, 264 patients (69.6%) are in moderately severe condition, 90 (23.7%) in severe and 20 (5.2%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 86, Osh city – 13, Chuy province – 115, Osh province – 29, Talas province – 11, Naryn province – 19, Issyk-Kul province – 13, Jalal-Abad province – 13, Batken province – 10.

Fatalities

 

No deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours. The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1460 cases, including 458 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1002 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

One (1) new COVID-19 case was registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours – in Chuy province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4203. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 2 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4160 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
