Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 68 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 19 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 24, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 3, Naryn province – 5, Issyk-Kul province – 8, Jalal-Abad province – 5, Batken province – 2.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 83 006 patients.

New cases

 

As of February 25th, 2021, a total of 66 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 27, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 24, Osh province – 6, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 6, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 1.

Overall, 86 091 cases were registered during the entire period, including 44 556 laboratory-confirmed cases and 41 535 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 358 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 328 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 123, Osh city – 11, Chuy province – 107, Osh province – 26, Talas province – 6, Naryn province – 21, Issyk-Kul province – 48, Jalal-Abad province – 3, Batken province – 13. Out of the 358 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 5 people (1.3%) is categorized as satisfactory, 258 patients (72%) are in moderately severe condition, 77 (21.5%) in severe and 18 (5%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 109, Osh city – 11, Chuy province – 110, Osh province – 31, Talas province – 8, Naryn province – 18, Issyk-Kul province – 23, Jalal-Abad province – 9, Batken province – 9.

Fatalities

 

Three (3) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek) and 2 cases due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek, Issyk-Kul province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1463 cases, including 459 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1004 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

No new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4203. In the past twenty-four hours, 2 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 4 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4 166 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
