In the past twenty-four hours, 55 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 14 patients, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 20, Osh province – 4, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 10, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 2.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 83 061 patients.

New cases

 

As of February 26th, 2021, a total of 51 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 10, Osh city – 6, Chuy province – 22, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 9, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 1.

Overall, 86 142 cases were registered during the entire period, including 44 572 laboratory-confirmed cases and 41 570 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3 338 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 368 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 313 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 131, Osh city – 14, Chuy province – 110, Osh province – 22, Talas province – 6, Naryn province – 20, Issyk-Kul province – 48, Jalal-Abad province – 4, Batken province – 13. Out of the 368 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 4 people (1%) is categorized as satisfactory, 258 patients (70%) are in moderately severe condition, 86 (23.3%) in severe and 20 (5.4%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 96, Osh city – 14, Chuy province – 109, Osh province – 31, Talas province – 7, Naryn province – 18, Issyk-Kul province – 22, Jalal-Abad province – 8, Batken province – 8.

Fatalities

 

No deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours. The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1463 cases, including 459 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1004 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

One (1) new COVID-19 case was registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours – in Bishkek city. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4204. In the past twenty-four hours, 2 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 4 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4172 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
