In the past twenty-four hours, 66 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 18 patients, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 35, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 4, Issyk-Kul province – 3, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 83 127 patients.

New cases

 

As of February 27th, 2021, a total of 43 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 18, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 11, Osh province – 4, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 6, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 86 185 cases were registered during the entire period, including 44 578 laboratory-confirmed cases and 41 607 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3 879 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 371 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 285 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 131, Osh city – 16, Chuy province – 103, Osh province – 27, Talas province – 8, Naryn province – 19, Issyk-Kul province – 49, Jalal-Abad province – 4, Batken province – 14. Out of the 371 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 4 people (1%) is categorized as satisfactory, 258 patients (69.5%) are in moderately severe condition, 90 (24.2%) in severe and 19 (5.1%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 94, Osh city – 12, Chuy province – 92, Osh province – 27, Talas province – 6, Naryn province – 17, Issyk-Kul province – 24, Jalal-Abad province – 6, Batken province – 7.

Fatalities

 

No deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours. The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1463 cases, including 459 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1004 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

One (1) new COVID-19 case was registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours – in Bishkek. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4205. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 4 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4 176 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
