Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 79 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 33 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 21, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 14, Jalal-Abad province – 5, and Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 81 714 patients.

New cases

 

As of February 8th, 2021, a total of 42 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 32, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 4, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 0, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 85 113 cases were registered during the entire period, including 44 222 laboratory-confirmed cases and 40 891 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

2457 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 459 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 572 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities: in Bishkek city – 146, Osh city – 15, Chuy province – 141, Osh province – 28, Talas province – 11, Naryn province – 34, Issyk-Kul province – 58, Jalal-Abad province – 13, Batken province – 13. Out of the 459 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 1 person (0.2%) is categorized as satisfactory, 309 patients (67.3%) are in moderately severe condition, 118 (25.7%) in severe, and 31 (6.7%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 232, Osh city – 27, Chuy province – 165, Osh province – 39, Talas province – 9, Naryn province – 20, Issyk-Kul province – 51, Jalal-Abad province – 25, Batken province – 4.

Fatalities

 

Five (5) deaths due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data were registered in the past twenty-four hours (Bishkek – 3, Chuy province – 1, Osh province – 1). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1431 cases, including 444 laboratory-confirmed cases and 987 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Five (5) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. All 5 cases occurred in Bishkek city. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4187. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 0 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4102 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
