Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for January 10th

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 151 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 56 patients, Osh city – 7, Chuy province – 39, Osh province – 2, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 9, Issyk-Kul province – 22, Jalal-Abad province – 7, and Batken province – 7.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 77 902 patients.

New cases

As of January 10th, 2021, a total of 135 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 68, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 22, Osh province – 8, Talas province – 4, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 21, Jalal-Abad province – 6, Batken province – 5.

Overall, 82 273 cases were registered during the entire period, including 43 059 laboratory-confirmed cases and 39 214 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

1 220 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 849 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1225 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 297, Osh city – 25, Chuy province – 217, Osh province – 70, Talas province – 10, Naryn province – 35, Issyk-Kul province – 135, Jalal-Abad province – 29, Batken province – 31. Out of the 849 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 9 people (1%) is categorized as satisfactory, 542 patients (63.8%) are in moderately severe condition, 251 (29.5%) in severe, and 47 (5.5%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 555, Osh city – 28, Chuy province – 270, Osh province – 54, Talas province – 13, Naryn province – 22, Issyk-Kul province – 176, Jalal-Abad province – 67, Batken province – 40.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Batken) and 1 case due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1369 cases, including 421 laboratory-confirmed cases and 948 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Three (3) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case in the “red zone.” All three (3) cases (1 in the “red zone”) occurred in Bishkek city. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4146. In the past twenty-four hours, 4 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 6 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4007 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
