Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 101 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 57 patients, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 16, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 12, Jalal-Abad province – 9, Batken province – 4.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 78 003 patients.

New cases

A total of 107 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours – as of January 11th, 2021. These include: Bishkek city – 82, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 8, Osh province – 2, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 10, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 4.

Overall, 82 380 cases were registered during the entire period, including 43 137 laboratory-confirmed cases and 39 243 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

569 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 839 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1241 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 293, Osh city – 27, Chuy province – 205, Osh province – 72, Talas province – 11, Naryn province – 33, Issyk-Kul province – 138, Jalal-Abad province – 29, Batken province – 31. Out of the 839 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 10 people (1.1%) is categorized as satisfactory, 543 patients (64.7%) are in moderately severe condition, 232 (27.6%) in severe and 54 (6.4%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 584, Osh city – 26, Chuy province – 274, Osh province – 53, Talas province – 12, Naryn province – 22, Issyk-Kul province – 171, Jalal-Abad province – 59, Batken province – 40.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours – both due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek, Issyk-Kul province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1371 cases, including 423 laboratory-confirmed cases and 948 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

One (1) new COVID-19 case was registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 1 case in Issyk-Kul province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is   4147. In the past twenty-four hours, 2 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 5 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4014 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
