Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for January 12th

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 178 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 60 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 43, Osh province – 8, Talas province – 4, Naryn province – 7, Issyk-Kul province – 28, Jalal-Abad province – 12, and Batken province – 14.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 78 181 patients.

New cases

A total of 115 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours – as of January 12th, 2021. These include: Bishkek city – 47, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 43, Osh province – 5, Talas province – 3, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 12, Jalal-Abad province – 3, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 82 495 cases were registered during the entire period, including 43 204 laboratory-confirmed cases and 39 291 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

5 641 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 808 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1203 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 300, Osh city – 25, Chuy province – 198, Osh province – 68, Talas province – 7, Naryn province – 31, Issyk-Kul province – 127, Jalal-Abad province – 27, Batken province – 25. Out of the 808 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 11 people (1.1%) is categorized as satisfactory, 506 patients (62.6%) are in moderately severe condition, 242 (29.9%) in severe and 49 (6%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 558, Osh city – 26, Chuy province – 281, Osh province – 54, Talas province – 15, Naryn province – 19, Issyk-Kul province – 166, Jalal-Abad province – 52, Batken province – 32.

Fatalities

 

Three (3) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Issyk-Kul province) and 2 cases due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1374 cases, including 424 laboratory-confirmed cases and 950 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Two (2) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 1 case in Jalal-Abad province, 1 case in Issyk-Kul province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4149. In the past twenty-four hours, 6 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 6 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4026 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
