Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for January 15th

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 152 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 78 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 34, Osh province – 8, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 14, Jalal-Abad province – 13, and Batken province – 1.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 78 715 patients.

New cases

As of January 15th, 2021, a total of 134 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 46, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 45, Osh province – 12, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 15, Jalal-Abad province – 8, Batken province – 3.

Overall, 82 857 cases were registered during the entire period, including 43 337 laboratory-confirmed cases and 39 520 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3 231 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 812 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1021 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 287, Osh city – 24, Chuy province – 207, Osh province – 82, Talas province – 12, Naryn province – 24, Issyk-Kul province – 119, Jalal-Abad province – 31, Batken province – 26. Out of the 812 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 8 people (0.9%) is categorized as satisfactory, 526 patients (64.7%) are in moderately severe condition, 230 (28.3%) in severe and 48 (5.9%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 545, Osh city – 25, Chuy province – 221, Osh province – 25, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 13, Issyk-Kul province – 126, Jalal-Abad province – 48, Batken province – 16.

Fatalities

 

Three (3) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 2 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek, Osh province) and 1 case due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Chuy province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1381 cases, including 429 laboratory-confirmed cases and 952 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

No new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4150. In the past twenty-four hours, 2 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 4  medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4046 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
