Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for January 16th

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 151 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 69 patients, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 43, Osh province – 2, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 18, Jalal-Abad province – 9, and Batken province – 2.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 78 866 patients.

New cases

As of January 16th, 2021, a total of 129 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 54, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 34, Osh province – 9, Talas province – 3, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 20, Jalal-Abad province – 4, Batken province – 3.

Overall, 82 986 cases were registered during the entire period, including 43 392 laboratory-confirmed cases and 39 594 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

2 330 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 799 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1009 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 279, Osh city – 26, Chuy province – 204, Osh province – 83, Talas province – 11, Naryn province – 25, Issyk-Kul province – 116, Jalal-Abad province – 31, Batken province – 24. Out of the 799 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 8 people (1%) is categorized as satisfactory, 518 patients (64.8%) are in moderately severe condition, 229 (28.6%) in severe and 44 (5.5%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 535, Osh city – 20, Chuy province – 215, Osh province – 31, Talas province – 4, Naryn province – 11, Issyk-Kul province – 131, Jalal-Abad province – 43, Batken province – 19.

Fatalities

 

One (1) death due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data was registered in the past twenty-four hours (in Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1382 cases, including 429 laboratory-confirmed cases and 953 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

No new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4150. In the past twenty-four hours, 2 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 2 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4050 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
