Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 110 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 55 patients, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 31, Osh province – 8, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 6, Jalal-Abad province – 9, and Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 79 104 patients.

New cases

As of January 18th, 2021, a total of 69 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 28, Osh city – 7, Chuy province – 11, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 19, Jalal-Abad province – 3, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 83 178 cases were registered during the entire period, including 43 456 laboratory-confirmed cases and 39 722 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

2 165 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 790 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 967 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 275, Osh city – 29, Chuy province – 201, Osh province – 76, Talas province – 9, Naryn province – 28, Issyk-Kul province – 116, Jalal-Abad province – 32, Batken province – 24. Out of the 790 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of people (0.8%) is categorized as satisfactory, 499 patients (63.1%) are in moderately severe condition, 244 (30.8%) in severe and 40 (5%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 498, Osh city – 21, Chuy province – 191, Osh province – 29, Talas province – 5, Naryn province – 13, Issyk-Kul province – 156, Jalal-Abad province – 35, Batken province – 19.

Fatalities

 

Three (3) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek) and 2 cases due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1387 cases, including 430 laboratory-confirmed cases and 957 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

No new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4158. In the past twenty-four hours, 1 medical worker was discharged from inpatient care, and 3 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4059 medical workers have recovered in the republic
