Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for January 1st

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 230 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 94 patients, Osh city – 6, Chuy province – 54, Osh province – 26, Talas province – 3, Naryn province – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 28, Jalal-Abad province – 7, and Batken province – 9.

The total number of recoveries during the entire period: 76 148 patients.

New cases

As of January 1st, 2021, a total of 122 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 43, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 39, Osh province – 7, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 25, Jalal-Abad province – 3, Batken province – 3.

Overall, 81 156 cases were registered during the entire period, including 42 508 laboratory-confirmed cases and 38 648 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

806 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 991 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, and 1746 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in the inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 327, Osh city – 42, Chuy province – 251, Osh province – 71, Talas province – 21, Naryn province – 22, Issyk-Kul province – 129, Jalal-Abad province –  71, Batken province – 57. Out of the 991 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 13 people (1.3%) is categorized as satisfactory, 687 patients (69.3%) are in moderately severe condition, 241 (24.3%) in severe and 50 (5%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 612, Osh city – 77, Chuy province – 436, Osh province – 73, Talas province – 49, Naryn province – 35, Issyk-Kul province – 318, Jalal-Abad province – 105, Batken province – 41 .

Fatalities

 

One (1) death due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data was registered in the past twenty-four hours (in Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1356 cases, including 415 laboratory-confirmed cases and 941 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Four (4) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 1 case in Bishkek city, 2 in Chuy province, 1 in Batken province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4118. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 9 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 3927 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
