Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 136 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 56 patients, Osh city – 0, Chuy province –  37, Osh province – 9, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 7, Issyk-Kul province – 13, Jalal-Abad province – 7, Batken province – 5.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 79 509 patients.

New cases

 

As of January 21st, 2021, a total of 155 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 42, Osh city – 6, Chuy province – 63, Osh province – 12, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 6, Issyk-Kul province – 11, Jalal-Abad province – 11, Batken province – 3.

Overall, 83 585 cases were registered during the entire period, including 43 580 laboratory-confirmed cases and 40 005 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

2 879 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 708 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1044 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 231, Osh city – 29, Chuy province – 189, Osh province – 70, Talas province – 5, Naryn province – 30, Issyk-Kul province – 107, Jalal-Abad province – 27, Batken province – 20. Out of the 708 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 4 people (0.5%) is categorized as satisfactory, 446 patients (62.9%) are in moderately severe condition, 225 (31.7%) in severe and 33 (4.6%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 471, Osh city – 32, Chuy province – 262, Osh province – 31, Talas province – 6, Naryn province – 5, Issyk-Kul province – 173, Jalal-Abad province – 40, Batken province – 24.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek) and 1 case due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Chuy province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1394 cases, including 433 laboratory-confirmed cases and 961 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

No new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4161. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 1 medical worker was released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4067 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
