Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for January 22nd

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 155 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 58 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 46, Osh province – 13, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 19, Jalal-Abad province – 11, and Batken province – 3.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 79 664 patients.

New cases

As of January 22nd, 2021, a total of 118 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 47, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 23, Osh province – 10, Talas province – 4, Naryn province – 10, Issyk-Kul province – 14, Jalal-Abad province – 8, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 83 703 cases were registered during the entire period, including 43 624 laboratory-confirmed cases and 40 079 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3 041 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 697 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1017 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 235, Osh city – 29, Chuy province – 188, Osh province – 64, Talas province – 6, Naryn province – 29, Issyk-Kul province – 102, Jalal-Abad province – 24, Batken province – 20. Out of the 697 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 3 people (0.4%) is categorized as satisfactory, 442 patients (63.4%) are in moderately severe condition, 219 (31.4%) in severe and 33 (4.7%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 455, Osh city – 32, Chuy province –  240, Osh province – 34, Talas province – 8, Naryn province – 14, Issyk-Kul province – 173, Jalal-Abad province – 40, Batken province – 21.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data were registered in the past twenty-four hours, (Chuy province, Issyk-Kul province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1396 cases, including 433 laboratory-confirmed cases and 963 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Two (2) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours – both in Bishkek city. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4163. In the past twenty-four hours, 1 medical worker was discharged from inpatient care, and 2 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4 070 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
