Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for January 23rd

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 108 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 38 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 35, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 23, Jalal-Abad province – 1, and Batken province – 3.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 79 772 patients.

New cases

 

As of January 23rd, 2021, a total of 93 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 27, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 29, Osh province – 4, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 21, Jalal-Abad province – 5, Batken province – 2.

Overall, 83 796 cases were registered during the entire period, including 43 661 laboratory-confirmed cases and 40 135 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

2 410 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 689 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1006 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 239, Osh city – 30, Chuy province – 179, Osh province – 66, Talas province – 7, Naryn province – 28, Issyk-Kul province – 98, Jalal-Abad province – 24, Batken province – 18. Out of the 689 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 4 people (0.5%) is categorized as satisfactory, 437 patients (63.4%) are in moderately severe condition, 220 (31.9%) in severe and 28 (4%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 438, Osh city – 31, Chuy province – 243, Osh province – 32, Talas province – 9, Naryn province – 13, Issyk-Kul province – 174, Jalal-Abad province – 44, Batken province – 22.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data were registered in the past twenty-four hours (Chuy province, Issyk-Kul province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1398 cases, including 433 laboratory-confirmed cases and 965 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

One (1) new COVID-19 case was registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours – in Jalal-Abad province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4164. In the past twenty-four hours, 1 medical worker was discharged from inpatient care, and 1 medical worker was released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4072 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
