Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for January 24th

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 155 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 59 patients, Osh city – 8, Chuy province – 44, Osh province – 4, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 4, Issyk-Kul province – 25, Jalal-Abad province – 6, and Batken province – 5.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 79 927 patients.

New cases

As of January 24th, 2021, a total of 104 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 35, Osh city – 5, Chuy province – 43, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 13, Jalal-Abad province – 3, Batken province – 1.

Overall, 83 900 cases were registered during the entire period, including 43 709 laboratory-confirmed cases and 40 191 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

1 658 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 676 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 967 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 248, Osh city – 23, Chuy province – 183, Osh province – 64, Talas province – 8, Naryn province – 25, Issyk-Kul province – 86, Jalal-Abad province – 23, Batken province – 16. Out of the 676 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 3 people (0.4%) is categorized as satisfactory, 419 patients (61.9%) are in moderately severe condition, 221 (32.6%) in severe and 33 (4.8%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 404, Osh city – 35, Chuy province – 238, Osh province – 31, Talas province – 9, Naryn province – 14, Issyk-Kul province – 174, Jalal-Abad province – 42, Batken province – 20.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data were registered in the past twenty-four hours (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1400 cases, including 433 laboratory-confirmed cases and 967 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Four (4) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours, including 2 cases in the red zone. Three (3) cases (2 in the red zone) occurred in Bishkek city, 1 case – in Chuy province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4168. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 3 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4075 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
