Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 157 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 61 patients, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 55, Osh province – 4, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 25, Jalal-Abad province – 5, and Batken province – 4.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 80 182 patients.

New cases

As of January 26th, 2021, a total of 97 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 42, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 40, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 6, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 1.

Overall, 84 068 cases were registered during the entire period, including 43 771 laboratory-confirmed cases and 40 297 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

1 432 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 643 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 907 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 231, Osh city – 21, Chuy province – 174, Osh province – 60, Talas province – 6, Naryn province – 27, Issyk-Kul province – 85, Jalal-Abad province – 20, Batken province – 19. Out of the 643 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 2 people (0.3%) is categorized as satisfactory, 395 patients (61.4%) are in moderately severe condition, 219 (34%) in severe and 27 (4.1%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city –390, Osh city – 33, Chuy province – 235, Osh province – 28, Talas province – 12, Naryn province – 14, Issyk-Kul province – 144, Jalal-Abad province – 38, Batken province – 13.

Fatalities

 

One (1) death due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data was registered in the past twenty-four hours (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1402 cases, including 434 laboratory-confirmed cases and 968 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

No new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4168. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 2 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4077 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
