Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 151 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 54 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 49, Osh province – 14, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 5, Issyk-Kul province – 19, Jalal-Abad province – 7, and Batken province – 1.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 80 481 patients.

New cases

 

As of January 28th, 2021, a total of 128 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 48, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 60, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 6, Issyk-Kul province – 9, Jalal-Abad province – 5, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 84 303 cases were registered during the entire period, including 43 890 laboratory-confirmed cases and 40 413 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

4 126 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 618 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 863 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 229, Osh city – 22, Chuy province – 175, Osh province – 46, Talas province – 7, Naryn province – 24, Issyk-Kul province – 77, Jalal-Abad province – 19, Batken province – 19. Out of the 618 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 4 people (0.6%) is categorized as satisfactory, 387 patients (62.6%) are in moderately severe condition, 206 (33.3%) in severe and 21 (3.3%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 371, Osh city – 29, Chuy province – 226, Osh province – 34, Talas province – 12, Naryn province – 13, Issyk-Kul province – 130, Jalal-Abad province – 39, Batken province – 9.

Fatalities

 

Three (3) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek) and 2 cases due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek, Issyk-Kul province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1408 cases, including 436 laboratory-confirmed cases and 972 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Two (2) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 1 case in Bishkek city, 1 case in Chuy province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4170. In the past twenty-four hours, 1 medical worker was discharged from inpatient care, and 2 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4083 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
