Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for January 2nd

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 203 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 75 patients, Osh city – 17, Chuy province – 42, Osh province – 7, Talas province – 3, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 38, Jalal-Abad province – 13, and Batken province – 6.

The total number of recoveries during the entire period: 76 351 patients.

New cases

As of January 2nd, 2020, a total of 58 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 30, Osh city – 5, Chuy province – 7, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 4, Issyk-Kul province – 7, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 3.

Overall, 81 214 cases were registered during the entire period, including 42 534 laboratory-confirmed cases and 38 680 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

997 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 985 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1604 patients are in outpatient care.

The number of patients in the inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 327, Osh city – 40, Chuy province – 258, Osh province – 70, Talas province – 21, Naryn province – 25, Issyk-Kul province – 121, Jalal-Abad province – 72, Batken province – 51. Out of the 985 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 14 people (1.4%) is categorized as satisfactory, 671 patients (68.1%) are in moderately severe condition, 251 (25.4%) in severe and 49 (4.9%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 566, Osh city – 67, Chuy province – 394, Osh province – 67, Talas province – 48, Naryn province – 34, Issyk-Kul province – 294, Jalal-Abad province – 90, Batken province – 44.

Fatalities

 

In the past twenty-four hours, 2 deaths due to COVID-19 were registered, including 1 case due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek) and 1 case due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1358 cases, including 416 laboratory-confirmed cases and 942 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Two (2) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case in the red zone. One (1) case (1 in the red zone) in Bishkek city, 1 case in Issyk-Kul province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4120. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 5 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 3932 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
