Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 115 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 65 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 15, Osh province – 8, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 15, Jalal-Abad province – 8, and Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 80 896 patients.

New cases

As of January 31st, 2021, a total of 76 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 32, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 25, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 8, Jalal-Abad province – 4, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 84 529 cases were registered during the entire period, including 43 986 laboratory-confirmed cases and 40 543 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3 628 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 586 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 702 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 200, Osh city – 22, Chuy province – 189, Osh province – 43, Talas province – 9, Naryn province – 18, Issyk-Kul province – 72, Jalal-Abad province – 13, Batken province – 20. Out of the 586 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 2 people (0.3%) is categorized as satisfactory, 388 patients (66.2%) are in moderately severe condition, 170 (29%) in severe and 26 (4.4%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 324, Osh city – 33, Chuy province – 159, Osh province – 34, Talas province – 9, Naryn province – 12, Issyk-Kul province – 89, Jalal-Abad province – 38, Batken province – 4.

Fatalities

 

One (1) death due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data was registered in the past twenty-four hours (Chuy province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1412 cases, including 437 laboratory-confirmed cases and 975 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

No new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4173. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 2 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4 090 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
