Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for January 3rd

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 212 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 74 patients, Osh city – 13, Chuy province – 55, Osh province – 2, Talas province – 10, Naryn province – 7, Issyk-Kul province – 25, Jalal-Abad province – 21, and Batken province – 5.

The total number of recoveries during the entire period: 76 563 patients.

New cases

As of January 3rd, 2021, a total of 91 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 34, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 37, Osh province – 2, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 6, Issyk-Kul province – 6, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 3.

Overall, 81 305 cases were registered during the entire period, including 42 576 laboratory-confirmed cases and 38 729 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

1 365 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 980 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1485 patients are in outpatient care.

The number of patients in the inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 335, Osh city – 38, Chuy province – 253, Osh province – 71, Talas province – 18, Naryn province – 30, Issyk-Kul province – 114, Jalal-Abad province – 71, Batken province – 50. Out of the 980 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 14 people (1.4%) is categorized as satisfactory, 671 patients (68.4%) are in moderately severe condition, 245 (25%) in severe and 50 (5.1%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 516, Osh city – 57, Chuy province – 380, Osh province – 66, Talas province – 43, Naryn province – 28, Issyk-Kul province – 282, Jalal-Abad province – 70, Batken province – 43.

Fatalities

 

One (1) death due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 was registered (Bishkek) in the past twenty-four hours. The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1359 cases, including 417 laboratory-confirmed cases and 942 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

No new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4120. In the past twenty-four hours, 4 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 2 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 3938 medical workers have recovered in the republic
