Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for January 4th

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 165  patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: Bishkek city – 55 patients, Osh city – 13, Chuy province – 44, Osh province – 2, Talas province – 5, Naryn province – 4, Issyk-Kul province – 16, Jalal-Abad province – 22, and Batken province – 4.

The total number of recoveries during the entire period: 76 728 patients.

New cases

As of January 4th, 2021, a total of 83 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 33, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 17, Osh province – 5, Talas province – 3, Naryn province – 5, Issyk-Kul province – 17, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 1.

Overall, 81 388 cases were registered during the entire period, including 42 614 laboratory-confirmed cases and 38 774 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

1 256 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 955 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1424 patients are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in the inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 318, Osh city – 38, Chuy province – 247, Osh province – 70, Talas province – 18, Naryn province – 30, Issyk-Kul province –117, Jalal-Abad province – 67, Batken province – 50. Out of the 955 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 14 people (1.4%) is categorized as satisfactory, 639 patients (64.2%) are in moderately severe condition, 249 (26%) in severe and 53 (5.5%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 507, Osh city – 45, Chuy province – 359, Osh province – 70, Talas province – 41, Naryn province – 29, Issyk-Kul province – 280, Jalal-Abad province – 53, Batken province – 40.

Fatalities

 

One (1) death due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Issyk-Kul province) was registered in the past twenty-hour hours. The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1360 cases, including 417 laboratory-confirmed cases and 943 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Three (3) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 1 case in Bishkek city, 1 case in Osh province, and 1 case in Issyk-Kul province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4123. In the past twenty-four hours, 1 medical worker was discharged from inpatient care, and 4 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 3943 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
